Our Story
The love for an extraordinary country
Tradition, sustainability and fairness - these are values to which TABIEA - the concept store - is committed. TABIEA, that's Nina, Nouha and Loubna.
We would like to make the uniqueness of Morocco and the traditional Moroccan handicraft accessible to you. Morocco is Nouhas and Loubna's first homeland and Nina's second. We love to commute between the two worlds, Germany and Morocco. Together we will discover the beauty of Morocco and its handicrafts.
For us, tradition stands for the appreciation of the handwork that was originally carried out by Moroccan families, which has passed it on from generation to generation and is continued today, especially in the rural parts of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.
For us, sustainability is not just a buzzword. When selecting our products, we pay attention to natural materials and renewable raw materials. We pay attention to environmental friendliness in the machining processes.
Fairness with our Moroccan craft families and suppliers but also with our customers is very important to us. We think that fair pay supports the continuation of traditional handicrafts and encourages women within families to contribute to their livelihood independently.
With this shop and our blog we would like to bring Morocco and our love for this extraordinary country closer and inspire you with our products.
Working with Tafsut and her family fills us with pride and joy. They create wonderful Beni Ourain carpets by hand. It is fascinating to watch how a beautiful carpet is created without templates or technical aids. Even today, the Beni Ourain are not only used as a design piece, but can also be found in many households of the Berber families as a warming and soft pad.

We are on friendly terms with the manufacturers of our other Moroccan products. We support each other in this.
